My name is Dieter Frey. I was born and raised in Wädenswil and - after living in the city of Zurich for a few years - I now live in Wädenswil again with my wife and our two daughters.

 

While I studied economics at the University of Zurich, I worked in the tax consulting department of a major bank. After I received my Bachelor in Economics I moved from consulting to the Zurich cantonal tax office, where I was responsible for the tax assessments of natural persons in the city of Zurich. During this time, I successfully obtained several certificates at the Swiss Tax Conference SSK. During the 3-year further training to become a Certified Fiduciary with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, I switched back to consulting and worked for an established consulting company specialized in tax consultancy and accounting in the Canton of Zurich until 2020. After that, in parallel to my work as a self-employed tax consultant, I worked for several years as Head of Finance & Controlling at a non-profit institution for people with physical disabilities.

 

In 2021, I successfully completed further education to become a Specialist in Social Insurance with Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
